At Nightingale Private Care our services are offered 24 hours per day, seven days per week – we can be there whenever you need us. Our goal is to assist our clients to remain independent in their own home for as long as possible. Depending on your needs, we can provide the following services:
These employees can assist with bathing, personal care, ambulation, laundry, meal preparation, medication reminders, and shopping. Our home health aides can even travel with you, should you desire. For clients who prefer or whose needs require, our home health aides can “live-in” 24 hours per day, providing added continuity.
Our nurses are highly skilled and can perform duties such as medication set-ups and management, post-operative care, injections, diabetic management, pain control, dementia related supervision, nutritional support, monitoring of vital signs with report to physicians, extended nursing care and coordination of client care with all members of their health care team.
If you or a loved one need extended help with specific nursing supervision of your health care such as coordinating doctor appointments, ordering prescriptions by mail, organizing home activities, and providing written updates for trust officers, attorneys, specialists, or out-of-town family members, our nurse case management services can provide the support you need. This service provides the total supervision that many clients need to remain at home safely.
Our Nightingale companions can provide needed socialization by accompanying clients to MD appointments, visiting with friends, attending concerts or movies, shopping, and other outings. Companions can also help with household tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping.
Do you worry about your parent’s eating frozen dinners, sandwiches, cookies, and canned foods all day? Do you have a loved one whose high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, kidney failure, irritable bowel syndrome, obesity, or ulcers are negatively impacted by their food choices and meal preparation? How many fresh food items are in your parents’ refrigerator? If these questions are a part of your concerns, consider our personal chef services. Nightingale can provide a chef to plan menus, grocery shop for fresh food items cook nutritious and delicious meals, and deliver those meals to the home on an as needed basis weekly. Our dietitians can make a visit to your home or that of a loved one to review dietary needs, plan meals, coordinate nutrition plans with your doctor or dialysis center, and to educate you and your family for future meal planning. Certain health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney disease, gout, osteoporosis, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcers, and many others are greatly affected by dietary choices – food can greatly improve or greatly exacerbate these conditions. Our dietitians can provide the guidelines and the answers to better health! It is true - good nutrition can change lives!
Nightingale can provide physical, occupational, and speech therapists for extended rehabilitation in the home. Private and personalized rehab programs are provided for the type of one-on-one therapy that can make achieving progress a reality.
