Caregiver Qualifications:
Nightingale Private Care is a drug-free workplace and as such, performs random drug testing on all employees. Work authorization checks are performed along with driver’s license verification. Background screening not only requires Level II fingerprinting but also includes detailed criminal background checks nationwide. All employees are bonded and insured.
"Our caregivers possess something more than you can teach, and that is a desire to care for people."Every caregiver is authorized to perform their duties either by classroom instruction with diploma, certification, or professional licensing by the state of Florida, depending on their position. Credentials are verified accordingly by Nightingale’s personnel staff. Additional training is provided in-house by Registered Nurses if necessary for updates to the skills required. All caregivers are required to complete CPR certification and the Alzheimer’s training required by the Agency for Health Care Administration. All new employees receive physicals.
