Our caregivers receive additional training every month on subjects ranging from safe transfers to nutrition and Alzheimer's care.
We have a state of the art training room providing hands on experience and instruction for our caregivers to maintain their skills. Our nurse educator is constantly assessing and guiding our home health aides in an effort to provide the optimum care of our clients. Our nurses also sit for a written examination to maintain updated knowledge of current nursing care. This additional testing adheres to the highest of industry and accreditation standards.
At Nightingale, we are proud of our ongoing commitment of in-services and training we require for our caregivers. In order to maintain our accreditation, it is required to have each of our caregivers participate in six mandatory trainings a year. Trainings are offered once a month.
